A panel that can carry the house you live in now.
Breaker panel replacements and service upgrades across South Miami-Dade, with the permit pulled and the inspection booked by us.

A lot of the houses we work in were wired for a fridge, a window unit and a few lamps. They now run central air, a pool pump, an induction range, and sometimes a car charger. When the panel is the original one, or the service is still 100 amps, breakers trip, wires run warm and anything new you want to add has nowhere to go.
Manny does a load calculation before quoting, so you know whether you need a new panel, a bigger service, or just a couple of dedicated circuits. If the service has to grow, we pull the Miami-Dade or city permit, coordinate the disconnect and reconnect with FPL, and stay on the job until the inspector signs it off.
What the job includes
- Free assessment and load calculation before any price
- Panel replacement with new breakers, labeled circuit by circuit
- Service upgrades, typically 100 amp to 200 amp
- Permit, inspection and FPL coordination handled by us
- Grounding and bonding brought up to current code
- Whole-house surge protection if you want it
- Dedicated circuits for pool pumps, sprinkler pumps, ranges and chargers
Signs it's time to call
- Breakers that trip when the AC and the dryer run together
- A panel that is warm to the touch, buzzes, or smells of hot plastic
- Rust on the panel or the meter can, common this close to the bay
- No open slots left for a new circuit
- An insurer or a buyer's inspector has flagged the panel
What it costs
We don't post a price range, because the number depends on things we have to see: the size of the service, how far the panel sits from the meter, whether the meter can has to change, how many circuits move over, and what the inspector will want brought up to code. Manny walks it, does the load calculation, and gives you one written price. If we open the wall and find something else, you hear about it before any extra work starts.

"Manny did a comprehensive job at our house. We had an old breaker box that he replaced at a reasonable cost."Al M., Google review

Questions about this job.
What people ask Manny about panel upgrades and replacements.
Or call (786) 299-2168The swap itself is usually done in a day, and your power is off for part of it. A service upgrade also needs FPL to disconnect and reconnect, plus the inspection, so we give you the full schedule before we start and tell you which hours the house will be without power.
Yes. A panel change or service upgrade needs an electrical permit from Miami-Dade County or your city, and an inspection after. We pull the permit under our license and meet the inspector. If someone offers to skip it, that is a problem waiting for you at resale or on your next insurance renewal.
Not always. The load calculation tells us. Plenty of homes only need a newer panel and a couple of dedicated circuits. If you are adding an EV charger, a pool heater or a big AC upgrade, 200 amps is often the right call. Call (786) 299-2168 and Manny will tell you which it is.
